Magic Bullet vs Nutri Ninja Pro BL450

With the current lifestyle, we are prone to obesity or malnutrition. Having smoothies can help you to control obesity and nourish well. If your blender makes smoothies in less than 30 seconds, then you are good to go. There are a lot of blenders available in the market. If you need a blender that take less time to blend and even lesser time to clean, then you might look for either Bullet brand or Ninja brand. Both carries excellent models of blenders.

To make things easier for you, we did comparisons of Magic Bullet and Nutri Ninja Pro BL450/451/455 Blenders. Hope it will help you to make decision.

Magic Bullet Reviews

The Good: Magic bullet is good for grinding small quantities of spices, sauces. It comes with many accessories and Jars.

The Bad: The motor Power of Magic Bullet is 2500-watt, this limits its performance for multi-tasking. A lot of users complained about the spilling of food in Magic Bullet. If you are making smoothies using leafy vegetables, then Magic Bullet is not the right choice. If you are looking for more power then Nutribullet series (Pro and Rx) might be a better choice.

The Bottom Line: It is good to have Magic Bullet. However, there are other models available in the market with great RPM. Magic Bullet is cheap, but shelling out few extra bucks will get you a better product.

Nutri Ninja Pro BL450 Reviews

The Good: Nutri Ninja comes with 900-watts. The higher power helps Ninja to make great smoothies. Also, it is good for grinding, shredding spices and cheese.

The Bad: To blend in Nutri Ninja you need to hold the jar over the blender. You cannot perform any other task while blending. It comes with single extractor blade. Price is almost double compared to Magic Bullet.

The Bottom Line: Ninja is sleek and compact. Good for counter tops. High horsepower makes serving consistency like any other high-end blenders.

Magic Bullet is among the first few blenders that come with the compact design. Their infomercial is amazing. However, when compared to Nutri Ninja, obviously the winner is Nutri Ninja. Comparing Magic Bullet and Nutri Ninja is incorrect. I would say that this comparison is not apple to apple. Nutribullet Pro or Nutri Ninja would be the right comparison. Comparison of Magic Bullet with Nutribullet 600 would be close. Magic Bullet should be compared with other brands such as Oyster, Hamilton Beach.

Ninja has high power base with good RPM compared to the Magic Bullet. RPM plays an important factor to get great smoothies. Lesser the power, difficult to churn the food. Besides, it affects the multi-tasking aspect of blenders. With a 900-watt motor, Ninja can do lot more multi-tasking compared to Magic Bullet. Magic Bullet can perform, but the consistency is not as good as Ninja.

The downside of Ninja is that it comes only with three jars (jars varies depending upon model), extra jar cost around $15. Magic Bullet comes with more than four jars with many lids. Magic Bullet is between $50-$60 whereas Ninja is around $100. Now you have to weigh the options of whether you want to shell out more and get a great product, or you are okay going with Magic Bullet.

The magic bullet I had did great smoothies but the plastic connecting ‘washer’ between the motor and the blade unit, which turns the blades, just shattered into four parts. Shame the plastic part wasn’t metal. Do the more expensive blenders have the same plastic working parts? No use having a powerful motor if the connecting mechanism is only plastic.

I was given a Nutri ninja IQ as a gift over a year ago ,I would have barely used it 15 times and all of a sudden it stopped working . I don’t have a receipt either . Is there anywhere I can get it fixed or is it cheaper to buy another one ?
