Performance

They have high torque Power Base of 900-watt or 1000-watt and 21,000 RPM. They are good for blending, chopping, grinding small quantities. Though it has 900-watt of power, it is not great for food processing. The power is high but less compared to newer models from other manufacturers such as Nutribullet Rx.

They run on Pulse Technology. The noise levels are similar to other Bullets brands available in the market.

Usability

  • Ease of Use: Like other small compact blenders, the blender Jars can be used as drinking purposes. You can store the food in the same Jar, you blended in, no need to pour in another containers.
  • How to Use: The blade is attach to a lid. Put the ingredients into the Jar and then close it using lid with a blade. Blend the stuff and remove the blade and put a standard lid. It works great. The blades are strong and thick. It mixes the food like butter. It is a push-down technology, not many speed setting to operate. The pros of this operation are, it is straightforward, but the con is, you don’t have any control. You need to hold the Jar over the blender to blend the ingredients; this is the big disappointment. In Nutribullet series, you can lock the Jar to the base and can do other work.

  • Multi-tasking: With 900-watt power, it is good for multi-tasking. However, do not benchmark it with other high-end blenders. Ninja comes with small Jars thus can only grind, chop or blend small quantities. You cannot use it for food processing.
  • Ease of Clean: The Jars are small and narrow. They are dishwasher safe. Blades are dishwasher safe too. However, it is recommended to hand wash them. Wipe the power base with a cloth. Since the spilling of food is minimal, there is not much of cleaning and maintenance.

Design

  • Technology: It has a stem line design. Easy to use and clean. With its Pro Extractor Blade it can cut any skin, stem or seed and extract the nutrients and vitamins from the deepest layers of the fruits and vegetables.
  • Leak Proofing: Nutri Ninja is leak free until you are overfilling the Jar. If you avoid following instructions, it will leak out while blending, into the base. However, the lids are not leak proof.
  • Markings: There is max marking on theJars, that prohibits you to overload the Jar. Avoid any overloading.
  • Material: BPA Free Plastic. Dishwasher safe. However, they are not microwave safe.

Value for money:

Nutri Ninja is a perfect nutrient and vitamin extractor. There is nothing to loose. Great in blending. Sleek, compact design with Pro Extractor Blades. You get what you spent. If you have already had a mixer with the big Jar, then it will be a great addition to your family. Nutri Ninja BL450 is the cheapest in three models. The BL455 model is considerably more costly than BL450 and BL451. Nutri Ninja is a competitor to Nutribullet Pro 900 Series. It is not extremely versatile, no multiple speed settings, only one blade but still powerful. Nutri Ninja is a personal blender, and its job is to blend. Once you use it, you will not complain about it. You can choose among the three models BL450/BL451/Bl455. If you want an extra Jar, then opt for BL451.

Mines under 2 months old and both the lids leak. Blends fine but I would recommend one with a different lid design.
